My day to day life isn't too exciting, but I like to be busy and mix it up a little. I am currently working part time at a coffee shop inside a government building. It is actually pretty cool; I get to keep my thumb on the pulse of all the local government happenings.
I am also going to school, slowly but surely. I am studying public health, and I landed an internship for the summer doing health data collection of local Native Americans.
In between school and work I am filling my days with gardening, walking the dogs, going to the gym, and hanging out with friends. I go out a couple nights a week with my moped gang and my garden club (garden club is secret dinner and wine club).
Like most people, the summer is my favorite time of year. The weather in Portland is amazing, and I make as much time as possible for camping, riding, and swimming in the rivers. There are always fun things going on, like the annual soap box derby and the Bastille Day celebration- which takes place right in front of our house.
