All About Me

Let me tell you a little about myself.

Hi, I'm Amy. I'm a 26 year old living in Portland, OR. Originally I am from Kalamazoo, MI. Two years ago my boyfriend and I loaded up our van and a moving truck and headed out across the country. He got the company of our two wonderful dogs, and I shared a ride with our huge maine coon kitty.

My boyfriend of six years recently became my husband. Wayne and I were married in Las Vegas. It was one of the most amazing weekends of my life...but I'll get to that in a later post.

I'm a big fan of games. I like playing sports, board games, crosswords...most anything. Going out to a bar is way more fun if they have a pinball machine or a dart board.

Every vacation my husband and I have gone on has involved at least a couple roller coasters. I love a good thrill. 7 years ago I went skydiving, and I hope to go again soon.

I am apart of a moped gang here in Portland. We're basically a bunch of geeky twenty to thirty somethings that like to ride around and act crazy. I ride my moped everywhere, rain or shine. And living in the northwest, well, there are a lot of wet rides.

I see life less as a balancing act and more as a big dinner. Aspects of it can be enjoyable or not, but it is best when everything compliments each other and blends together. There doesn't have to be a distinct separation between seriousness and absurdity, between passion and light-heartedness. Does this make any sense?

So, that's me in a nutshell. I really enjoy life.
